Events
As PTFA members, we organize numerous events during the academic year to generate essential funds for the school. Some events align with well-known dates on your calendar, others are special initiatives aimed at supporting specific projects that require additional funding. Below, you'll find details about some of our past and upcoming events. If you want to keep upto date then please give us a follow on our socials.
Summer Fair
Our Summer Fair took place on Saturday 27th June, and we loved seeing you there!
You helped us raise an incredible amount of money. We couldn't have done it without you! If you want to help volunteer for next years fair please get in touch via the 'Get Involved' button at the top of the page.
Summer Fair Tokens
The PTFA provide tokens which act as payment, which allows children to use towards High View stalls and activities. These can be purchased on the School Gateway system and can also be purchased on the day on entry.
Hamper Donations
Each year, we request hamper donations for our summer fair prizes. We encourage children to contribute food and drink items, as well as other essentials like toys, toiletries, and stationery. Your generous donations help make our event and bring joy to our school community. Thank you for your support!
Father's Day Sales
Each year we hold Father's Day sales that give the children the opportunity to buy that little something special for their loved ones. Various items such as socks, keyrings, cards and chocolate can be purchased. Items costing from £1-£2.50. Cash and card accepted.
Colour Run Sales
The PTFA hold t-shirt and glasses sales for the long anticipated Colour Run. We have white tees and protective eye-wear on sale after school on selected dates nearer the event. Come down to support the PTFA fundraising and grab yourself some merch.
Ice Lolly Sales
Every Summer, the PTFA hold Ice Lolly Sales. Something cool and refreshing for the kids to enjoy after a long hot busy day. All proceeds add to those vital funds needed for the pupils of High View.
World Cup Mufti - Bottle Donations
We held a mufti event celebrating the World Cup! Kids were invited to wear their favourite football teams and countries while contributing to a great cause by donating bottles for our summer fair. Stay tuned for similar exciting events next year, where we’ll continue to collect bottle donations for our tombola. Thank you for your support!
EYFS Sponsored Obstacle Course
A new event for Early Years is the sponsored obstacle course. Children are invited to take part in navigating numerous obstacles at different difficulty levels (all suitable for little legs) Please scan the QR code to sponsor your chosen child and donate. Recommended sponsor £10pp.
Colour Run!
The Colour Run is back for 2026! This fun-filled event was such a hit last year so we decided to bring it back again this year. Your sponsors and donations make a huge difference to the school, and the kids had an amazing time navigating the paint filled course. Stay tuned for next years events.
Car Boot Sale
A brand new event for 2026, the PTFA hosted a car boot & table top sale on the grounds of the school. We had a great turn out of both sellers and buyers and we are in discussions on whether we hold more events like this next year. Keep an eye on our socials for the latest news.
Reception Parent Gift Bags
Every year we welcome new children and their parents to High View Primary School. The PTFA like to provide each parent with a special welcome gift bag. Your donations and continued support allow us to provide these special gestures which uphold High View values.
Autumn Fun Night & Disco
Each year in October we host a fun night for years 1-2 and a disco for years 3-6. Both events include a snack and drink and tickets can be purchased on the school gateway system nearer the event.
Christmas Jumper Donations & Sales
Every November the PTFA ask for donations of Christmas jumpers. We know how costly these items can be and we hold a sales event which help both parents and fundraising for the school. Get those jumper donations ready!
EYFS Winter Party
A lovely event for the little ones. One of their first events of their school year, we like to provide them with a snack & drink and fun activities to help the children bond and most importantly, have fun with their peers. Watch out for the next date on our socials this December.
Christmas Pop Up Shop
Each Winter, we like to hold Christmas sales with our pop up shops selling various festive items for you to purchase. Any funds raised go directly to helping purchase equipment for the school. Keep an lookout on our socials for our winter sales this year.
Hot Chocolate Sales
The kids love the Hot Chocolate and Sweet Treat sales. A nice warming treat after a long cold winters day for the kids to enjoy. Come along to grab your hot drinks and a little sweet something to nibble on. Dates TBC for this year.
Christmas Raffle
Our Christmas raffle is a great opportunity to win fantastic prizes for children, parents, and friends. A purchase through the school gateway could win you free drinks or a fun day out. Don't miss the chance to enter this Christmas!
School Panto
Last year, our first school panto visit was a hit with kids and teachers. Bigfoot Productions returns this year with another must-see performance! We kindly request a voluntary ticket contribution per child, as every donation supports amazing experiences for our High View children.
Quiz Night - Adults Only
Join us for our popular Adults Only Quiz Night! It's a perfect opportunity for parents and friends to unwind, socialize, and showcase their trivia. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks, or purchase refreshments from our bar.
Mini Marathon Ice Lolly's
This year the school was entered into the Mini Marathon and the PTFA provided ice lolly's for every child participating as a reward for taking part. Donations of £1 per child are made via the school gateway system. Watch out for the next event in 2027.
WBD Costume Donations & Sales
World Book Day is a highlight of the school year. This year, we collected costume dress-up donations to raise funds for our new library. Stay tuned for next year's event leading up to World Book Day on Thursday, March 4, 2027.
Wonder Chocolate Bar Sales
Our Wonder Bar sales were a huge success, and we plan to bring them back next year. They sold out quickly, so pre-buy online to ensure availability, and bars will be given to children at day's end. Many great prizes were won and enjoyed by the winners.
Mother's Day Sales
In the lead-up to Mother's Day, we offer children the opportunity to buy special gifts like jewellery, cards, flowers, and chocolates. Each purchase supports new equipment and resources for High View students. Join us for the next sales in 2027!
Spring Disco & Fun Night

Smarties Challenge
Each year we provide each High View child with a pack of Smarties. We ask that you fill the empty container with any coins you can find and hand them back into school after the Easter break. The class that raises the most money wins a prize - Well done Robins! We hope you enjoyed your extra Mufti day.
EY Summer Party
Early Years got to enjoy lots of fun activities this year at their summer party. The kids get to enjoy a drink and snack as part of the cost of each ticket. These can be found on the school gateway system nearer to the event. Keep a look out on our socials for the next date.
